This series was created in 1982-3 after a life-threatening accident. This obviously changed my world-view. The underwater creatures are modeled after actual rare creatures (I was given the run of a large marine laboratory) and the placement of the stars in outerspace is also realistically rendered. Some of the paintings have 40 layers of glaze to create the colours, making the depth of view amazing.
The series sold quickly, but I was able to retain two pieces. Am working on getting images to post here, so with luck eventually should have more.
